How it works

This page is dedicated to explaining the entire process from you finding a photo of your pet to the shipment of the final product. Follow these steps to become an owner of your very own original Lyndzee Rae pet portrait!

EMAIL A PHOTO

First, choose your favorite photo(s) of your beloved pet. You are looking for photos that: 

  • Represent your pet's unique personality
  • Have good lighting that accurately represents your pet's coloring
  • Have clear focus so I don't miss any crucial detail

All photos must be emailed to info@lyndzeerae.com

  • Can't see the face

DESIGN

Size - Background - Props

  • What size would you like your painting to be? There is a size chart located on the "Pricing" page. Please contact if you want more than three pets per canvas or an unlisted size.
  • What would you like as the background of your pet's portrait? Peek and confer to the "Portfolio" page to get an idea of different techniques and colors. Don't have a preference? Ask me for advice on what I think would look best, I am always happy to help!
  • Do you want anything added or deleted from the photo you want painted? I can always add in a favorite toy or delete a harness (within reason).
 
 

Backgrounds can vary greatly. You can choose between simple patterns, or your photo's background. Be sure to confer your ideas with me. If you're not sure, don't be afraid to let my creativity choose for you!

CREATE

Current creation time: 1-2 weeks

After purchasing the size canvas you want, I will begin creating your one-of-a-kind work of art. Please check the creation time to see when your portrait will be complete.

COMPLETE

Review & Ship

Once I am finished with your custom piece, I will send you photo proofs of what I have created. Please do not hesitate to ask about adjustments that need to be made. I will work with you as much I can to make sure you are satisfied with the final product. 

After the final product is approved, it is sealed with a high quality gloss acrylic varnish to ensure your piece will stay vibrant and protected throughout the years. As soon as it is safe, it will be shipped off to address provided at checkout. 

Refund policy: Due to time and materials, I have a no refund policy. Although I will work with you as much as possible before shipping to guarantee that my work is to your liking.
